Nine Indians were killed in a road accident near Jizan in west Saudi Arabia, the Indian mission in Jeddah said on Wednesday. A helpline was set up for queries, it said, adding it was in touch with authorities. Details of the crash were unavailable. Foreign minister S Jaishankar expressed his grief over the loss of lives. “Our consul general in Jeddah is in touch with the concerned families and extending fullest support in this tragic situation,” Jaishankar said.
