Directed by Nag Ashwin, this blockbuster also starred stars like Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani along with Prabhas. The film made a huge amount of money at the box office and was well liked by the audience. But, Arshad Warsi did not like this film and recently he talked about it during an interview. Telugu industry stars have expressed their displeasure over Arshad Warsi’s comparison of Prabhas’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ character ‘Bhairav’ to ‘Joker’. Telugu actor Sudheer Babu expressed his reaction on this on Twitter (earlier Twitter) and was seen getting angry at Arshad Warsi. Sudheer Babu has called Arshad Warsi’s thinking ‘small’ for comparing Prabhas to ‘Joker’.

Sudheer Babu made a post reacting to Arshad Warsi’s statement, in which he wrote – ‘Arshad Warsi does not have any professionalism at all. It is understandable to criticize constructively, but it is never right to say bad things about someone. Arshad Warsi never expected lack of professionalism. But, Prabhas’ stature is too high for comments coming from a small mind.’

Apart from Sudheer Babu, ‘RX 100’ director Ajay Bhupati also strongly criticized Arshad Warsi’s statement. Reacting to this, he said- ‘Prabhas is a star who can do anything to make Indian cinema recognized worldwide. He has given everything to the industry. He is the pride of our country. We can see the jealousy in your eyes, because you have been forgotten and no one looks at you. There is a limit to expressing your thoughts. It seems, whatever you said about him, you yourself are that.’
