Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his government’s decision to accept recommendation letters from people’s representatives (MLAs, MLCs and MPs) of Telangana for darshan at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).

This move allows Telangana’s MPs, MLAs, and MLCs to recommend up to six devotees for darshan through special letters twice a week, a provision that Mr. Reddy described as reflective of the strong bond between the Telugu people and their shared traditions.

In his message, he thanked Mr. Naidu for understanding the importance of the request and facilitating easier access to Lord Venkateswara’s darshan for devotees from Telangana.

Earlier, Mr. Reddy wrote a formal letter to his counterpart in Andhra Pradesh requesting the resumption of the tradition that allow public representatives from Telangana to issue recommendation letters for darshan and sevas at TTD. Former MLA and TPCC working president T. Jagga Reddy also extended his appreciation to Mr. Naidu. He highlighted how the decision would benefit thousands of Telangana devotees who visit Tirumala regularly.
