‘Paatal Lok’ 2 teaser OUT; Jaideep Ahlawat’s returns as inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary, ready to confront new societal evils

Paatal Lok is returning to Prime Video, and the first teaser has been released on social media, building excitement. The teaser shows a new case that challenges Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary, played by Jaideep Ahlawat. In Season 2, Ishwak Singh will return as Imran Ansari, with new cast members Tillotama Shome and Gul Panag joining the show.
Clean Slate Filmz and Eunoia Films LLP produced the eight-episode series, created and executive produced by Sudip Sharma. It is directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware and will be available on Prime Video starting January 17, 2025.
Sudip Sharma, the creator and showrunner of Paatal Lok, expressed his excitement in a press release. The first season of ‘Paatal Lok’, which premiered in May 2020, was acclaimed for its intense storytelling and authentic portrayal of Indian society. Viewers were introduced to the morally complex world of Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat, as he faced various challenges related to crime and social issues.
