According to the latest updates, amid the raging L.A. wildfire, Ben Affleck received an unexpected knock at his door by FBI agents and LA County Sheriff’s Department deputies.
The law enforcement officers showed up at the 52-year-old actor’s residence in the upscale Brentwood area of Los Angeles, Daily Mail reported. The report suggests that the officials were seen waiting outside the gate of Ben’s property for a few minutes.
There’s no confirmation on whether the ‘Accountant’ fame actor Ben was at home or not during the visit, but the reports state that his driveway gate remained locked after the FBI agents and Sheriff’s deputies used the call box adjacent to it.
Further details describe that one of the agents was seen wearing body armor with the FBI emblem on the back, while another was seen in a short-sleeved shirt with the agency’s logo on the back. In addition, there were two more officers, one in a utility vest and the other in a jacket with the Sheriff’s Department logo on it.
While more updates on the same surface, it has been reported that Ben’s $20.5 million mansion has so far remained protected, despite its proximity to the wildfires that have caused destruction all around. As per the safety measures, Ben had to evacuate from his estate and he rushed to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s house. As he found shelter there, the actor was spotted giving his oldest daughter Violet a tender embrace over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the wildfire chaos didn’t spare Jennifer Garner. She got emotional and disclosed losses caused by to raging fire. “I did lose a friend who did not get out on time,” she said on MSNBC.
