Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently attended the grand event hosted for ‘Thandel’ in Hyderabad, where the filmmaker revealed that Sai Pallavi was his first choice for ‘Arjun Reddy’. However, when a person claiming to be the actress’s manager mentioned that she would not wear sleeveless outfits, he had to drop the idea. Shortly after the news made headlines, actress Sai Pallavi reacted to Vanga’s remark.
A recent video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Gulte features Sai Pallavi sharing her thoughts on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s revelation. She stated that she believes every director should have a voice and that Vanga remains unfiltered both on and off-screen. She added that it is nice and refreshing to see someone who, despite being influenced by various factors, stays true to himself. In a world where individuals change themselves to fit into spaces for fame and opportunity, she found Vanga to be unapologetically himself. “From a place where you have gone from ‘Arjun Reddy’ to North Indian movies and now you are doing bigger films, people look forward to your movies.”
The ‘Fidaa’ actress expressed her gratitude to Sandeep for attending the event and speaking highly of her. “I did not have a manager, and I do not know who fooled you by pretending to be my manager. I think ‘Arjun Reddy’ is a completely beautiful movie just the way it is. Shalini (Pandey) has done a phenomenal job, and Vijay (Deverakonda) has also done a great job. The movie had everything it needed. They were meant to do it.”
‘Thandel’, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, will hit theatres on February 7.
