Roxanne Perez wins on RAW, qualifies for WWE elimination chamber

Former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez made a stunning impact on her main roster debut, defeating Raquel Rodriguez on the February 17 episode of WWE RAW to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

On the February 17th episode of WWE RAW, Perez and Rodriguez clashed, with Rodriguez dominating half of the match. However, Perez’s resilience kept her in the fight. As the match neared its end, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi confronted Liv Morgan at ringside. This distraction gave Perez the opening she needed to hit her signature Pop Rox finisher and secure the victory.

Perez’s Meteoric Rise in WWE

Since joining NXT in 2022, Perez has built an impressive resume. She won the inaugural NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament and went on to become a two-time NXT Women’s Champion. Her second reign lasted nearly 300 days, establishing her as a dominant force in the division.

Her main roster debut comes just days after competing at NXT Vengeance Day, where she unsuccessfully challenged for the NXT Women’s Championship. This RAW appearance hints that her time in NXT may be coming to an end.

Dominating at the Royal Rumble

Perez has already proven herself on the main roster. She participated in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, making it to the final two before being eliminated by WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. This standout performance solidified her status as a rising star.

Speaking about her journey, Perez told Sports Illustrated:

“It’s a mix of emotions. Looking at everything I’ve accomplished in NXT and having someone like Shawn Michaels believe in me has been incredible. It makes me a little sad that it might be over, but I’ll always be back.”

Reflecting on her Rumble performance, she added:

“Being the last two with Charlotte Flair in the Rumble solidified ‘The Prodigy’ on the main roster. I have more motivation than ever, and I can’t wait to make my mark.”

With her RAW victory, Perez has now joined Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, and Naomi in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. The winner will earn a championship opportunity at WWE WrestleMania 41.
