A bedridden man was allegedly stomped to death by his son reportedly under the influence of alcohol at Chelamattam near Perumbavoor on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Johny, 67. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead following which an autopsy was conducted on Thursday.
The autopsy report attributed the death to injuries to the lungs following fractured ribs.
