Vipin Das’ ‘Vaazha’ sequel launched; Alphonse Puthren on board-OxBig News Network

We had previously reported that the makers of Vaazha- Biopic of a Billion Boys have announced a sequel for the Malayalam film. Produced by Vipin Das of Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, Vaazha was directed by Anand Menon.

It’s now known that the sequel, titled Vaazha II, has been launched. The film was launched with a traditional pooja ceremony in Kochi on Tuesday. While Vipin returns to pen the sequel, the upcoming film is directed by debutant Savin SA.

Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak, who were part of Vaazha, will be reprising their roles in the sequel. Apart from veterans Sudheesh, Vijay Babu, and filmmaker Alphonse Puthren, the film will also star popular content creators like Ameen, Nihal Nizam, Nibraz Noushad, Shahubas, and Sabir S.

Vaazha II is produced by Vipin Das, Harris Desom, P B Anish, Adarsh Narayan, and Icon Studios. The sequel will have cinematography by Akhil Lailasuran, music by Ankit Menon, and editing by Kannan. The film will go on floors from April 10.
