Maintaining good health isn’t just about working out or eating right—it’s about listening to your body and making consistent, mindful choices. Celebrities share their health mantras.
Go for meditation
Mohit Daga
To maintain good internal health, meditation can be a powerful remedy. Closing your eyes is not meditation in itself. It’s important to understand the process of meditation and focus on it. Since I’m somewhat connected to meditation, I believe that the number of minutes we meditate should correspond to our age. What people usually do is close their eyes for five or seven minutes and feel like they’ve meditated. I think that’s fine for their satisfaction, but it won’t bring any internal change. Until we can properly observe our breath, we won’t reach the stage we are truly meant for in life.
Remain positive
Shubhangi Atre
If I had to share just two tips about taking care of your health, they would firstly be eat right—I believe that what you eat matters a lot. I’m a pure vegetarian, so I try to eat clean, simple and well-balanced food. I start my day in a positive way and I always try to eat mindfully. Second, think right—I try not to let outside negativity affect me. Of course, there are times when things disturb me, but I make a real effort to keep myself away from those situations. Whether it’s negative thoughts or low moments, I focus on positivity.
Regular workout
Srikant Dwivedi
I do my best to stay fit by going to the gym, running, or even doing basic exercises at home if the gym is closed. Sometimes, because of my busy work schedule, I can’t go to the gym, so I make sure to work out at home or even create a small space for exercise on set. Another important thing I do for my health is eating healthy. I try to eat food that is nutritious and rich in protein. I avoid junk food as much as possible, though I do have cravings once in a while. Maybe once a week or once in two weeks, I allow myself that treat. But, otherwise, I make sure my diet is healthy.
Traditional methods
Ashita Dhawan
I take a morning shot of one orange along with black pepper, kacchi haldi (raw turmeric) and ginger, as my grandma always said this is great for immunity. I also have ash gourd and amla juice. Ash gourd is packed with vitamins and has so many health benefits. It’s especially good for the lungs and the entire body system. There’s one more thing I do, I always consume raw jeera before every meal. It helps reduce inflammation, improves digestion and clears blockages. These are my ways of keeping my health in check, even on busy days.
Water route
Mitu
I drink a lot of water and try to sleep on time because the two most important things are keeping your body hydrated and allowing it to rest. Apart from that, I walk, exercise and eat the right foods at the right times—foods that suit my body. Ignoring our bodies can lead to situations that are not conducive to well-being. If you have good health, you have everything—being able to function properly is a big deal.
Don’t take stress
Saanand Verma
If I had to offer just two tips for better health, they would be quite simple yet effective. The first one is to stay away from stress as much as possible. Mental peace is just as important as physical fitness. A calm mind keeps the body healthy. Secondly, maximise your intake of raw, natural foods—especially fruits, green vegetables and salads. The less cooked and processed your food is, the more nutrients you preserve and the better your body responds. I try to eat as naturally as possible.
