The Kasaba police on Sunday arrested a 36-year-old Karnataka native, Shameer, on fees of sexually abusing a lady and swindling her of gold ornaments and money price ₹7.5 lakh below the pretext of marriage.
The arrest adopted a criticism filed by the survivor, a local of Malappuram district. According to police sources, the alleged incident occurred at a resort in Kozhikode. Shameer was taken into custody from Mundakkayam, the place he was reportedly staying with one other lady.
