A celebration of black hair is to open at an artwork gallery in Hull.
The exhibition, known as Hair: Identity within the Afroworld, options portraits by native photographer Rayh Mohammed.
Each photograph incorporates augmented actuality with a purpose to inform the story of the sitter and what their hair means to them.
It will open on the Ferens Art Gallery on Friday and is because of run till 17 August.
Volunteers from throughout Hull have helped to create the exhibition by talking about their experiences with their hair.
Shemel Fanfair, one of many organisers, stated the present celebrated “the sweetness and cultural significance of afro hair”.
Visitors can study braiding kinds and hair-care strategies handed down by means of generations.
Stephanie Edwards, a curator on the gallery, stated it was “an exhibition for everybody, whether or not you have got afro hair or not”.
