Bollywood star Aamir Khan has stepped into the digital world by launching his own YouTube channel, ‘Aamir Khan Talkies.’ This new platform aims to give film lovers and aspiring filmmakers a close look at the process of making movies. The channel will provide a mix of learning and entertainment, offering behind-the-scenes moments, expert discussions, and insights into storytelling techniques.

A new platform for cinema lovers
Announcing the launch, Aamir Khan Productions shared a video on social media, saying, “Cinema. Stories. Unfiltered moments. We’ve created stories that have made you laugh, cry, and think for years. Now, we’re welcoming you to the world of cinema like never before with Aamir Khan Talkies! A place where storytelling meets reality. This is your front-row seat to the magic of moviemaking, from rare behind-the-scenes moments to conversations about films that shaped us!”

In the welcome video, Aamir Khan talked about his long-standing dream of creating a platform where he could discuss his films and the art of filmmaking. He said, “I have always wanted to create a platform where I can talk about my journey, the lessons I have learned, and the incredible creative process that goes into making a film.” The channel is not just another promotional space. It promises rare and honest glimpses from film sets, deep discussions about storytelling, and conversations with industry professionals.

Aamir Khan auditioned for Kavi Kishan’s role
Aamir Khan Talkies has released many unseen footageand insights of Aamir’s films and productions one of which was his audition for the role of Sub-Inspector Shyam Manohar in ‘Laapataa Ladies.’ The clip shows his screen test for the character, which was eventually played by Ravi Kishan, as part of the channel’s special casting diaries series.

On the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, a report from Bollywood Hungama states that the teaser for the film was certified on 24 March 2025. The teaser runs for 1 minute and 19 seconds.
