AITM CodeFest, – a national-level hackathon, was inaugurated at Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) in Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka on April 13.

A total of 30 teams from across India participated in the 24-hour coding marathon where young minds tackled real-world challenges with technology-driven solutions.

Waseem Ahmed, an alumnus of AITM and the founder director of Wynteam Global, was the chief guest. He spoke to participants about his journey from campus to entrepreneurship.

Mohiddin Ruknuddin, Secretary of AITM, presided over the function. Principal Dr. K Fazlur Rahman, Registrar Prof. Zahid Kharuri, Head of CSE Dr. Anvar Shathik, and faculty coordinators Prof. Sayed Nooreain and Prof. Shrishail Bhat were also present, encouraging the spirit of innovation and collaboration.

The title partner was Niveus Solutions, organising partner was DigiScrypt Technologies, associate partners were Mohtisham Builders, SproutXP, iTecs Solutions, Emertxe Technologies, Tahoora, and Wynteam Global. The total prize pool was ₹2 lakh, with ₹60,000 for the first prize, ₹30,000 for the second, and ₹15,000 for the third.

The prizes would be presented to the winners at the valedictory ceremony on April 14.
