According to sources, Biden has also got the support of Kamala Harris in his campaign. Biden has rejected the questions being raised on his preparations to contest the election and the growing pressure within the Democratic Party to withdraw his claim. He pledged to contest the election again on Wednesday and said that he cannot be forced to drop out of the presidential race.

Biden insisted, ‘I am contesting the election. I am the candidate of the Democratic Party. Nobody can remove me from this.’ 3 people familiar with the entire incident said on the condition of anonymity that both Biden and Harris had suddenly arrived on the call of the Democratic National Committee. He told that during this there was a brief and encouraging conversation, in which the election’s tricks were emphasized and Biden’s comments after the last debate were considered. Biden had said after the debate that even though he was behind, he would come back again.
Questions are being raised on Biden’s ability
The comments made by Biden and his top aides after the debate are considered to be one of the efforts to address the growing concern of Capitol Hill and the top leadership of the party. Democrats are dissatisfied with the explanation given by the White House staff and Biden himself regarding the poor performance in the debate. Some party leaders believe that Biden should have realized the questions being raised about his poor performance much earlier and he has put himself in a difficult situation by staying in the race.
