Huang’s feedback got here after China on Monday urged the United States to “instantly right its wrongdoings” and cease “discriminatory” measures following the U.S. steerage warning corporations to not use superior pc chips from China, together with Huawei’s Ascend AI chips.
The U.S. motion critically undermined consensus reached on the high-level bilateral commerce talks in Geneva, an announcement from China’s commerce ministry stated, vowing resolute measures if the U.S. continues to “considerably” hurt China’s pursuits.
Huang, talking on the annual Computex occasion in Taipei, stated Nvidia’s market share in China dropped to 50% from 95% initially of former U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration.
