Celebs from the telly world share their best fan moments

Cop story

Aditya Deshmukh

Well, usually fans love taking photos with celebrities, getting autographs and more. But one of my most memorable and surprising fan experiences was quite unexpected. I was once in my car and a traffic police officer stopped me. At first, I was really confused and worried, wondering what had happened. But to my surprise, he wasn’t stopping me for any violation. Instead, he recognised me and wanted a photo clicked with me. Maybe he had been watching Ziddi or some other show of mine. Having a police officer ask for a photo in the middle of traffic was both crazy and a little scary. But at the end, it was also a fun and unforgettable experience. I shall remember this incident for a long time.

Happy zone: Indraxi Kanjilal

The most memorable fan experience for me was when I met my first fan. I believe anything that happens for the first time makes you feel very emotional because it’s a new and special feeling. You tend to remember it for the rest of your life, which makes it even more memorable. I remember it happened when I had just started working on my show. Since I was new to the industry and didn’t have much screen presence initially, not many people recognised me. But one day, I was at a mall, and suddenly, two people recognised me. Among them was a woman, probably in her 50s. She came up to me and said, “Aren’t you from Pushpa Impossible?” I was so surprised and happy!

Sweet moment: Aishwariya Raj Bhakuni

I once went for a shoot to Kozhikode, for the song Vidil with Sunny Ven, a well-known star from the Malayalam industry. While I was shooting, a group of little girls made handmade rings for me using rubber bands. It was such a sweet gesture. They also wrote small, adorable notes for me, which made the moment even more special. The girls were around seven to eight years old, and they were so cute and lovable. Their kindness and innocence truly touched my heart. It’s definitely one of the most memorable and special fan moments.

Great gesture

People recognise me and ask for pictures, which is sweet of them. Great gesture, but I feel I am not that big yet so it doesn’t really matter. A few days back people recognised me in a lounge and asked for pictures. That was a real fan moment.
