Coldplay singer Chris Martin attends Sachin Tendulkar foundation’s 5th anniversary-OxBig News Network

Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar met Coldplay singer Chris Martin with his family as he shared glimpses of their meeting with their fans on social media. Chris Martin is in India for his concert tour as he recently performed with his band in Mumbai and is all set to perform again on January 25 and 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Ahead of his concerts, Martin attended the fifth anniversary celebration of the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation where the British singer also met his wife Anjali and daughter Sara. Tendulkar shared glimpses of their meeting on his social media handles as he wrote a long post recalling the achievements of his foundation in the first five years.

Chris Martin admires Jasprit Bumrah

Earlier, Martin even surprised his audience during his concert in Mumbai as he mentioned India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah’s name on stage. The video of the incident got viral on social media as even Bumrah shared it on his social media handles.

“Hold on, we have to finish the show because Jasprit Bumrah wants to come and play backstage,” Martin had said. “He says he needs to bowl at me now.” Martin then chanted Bumrah’s name and said, “We’ll ask him to wait 15 minutes.”

Later, Martin also hilariously claimed that he received a legal notice from the India speedster’s lawyers for taking his name without their permission.
