The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a final complaint in an alleged money laundering case related to the construction of the national highway between Mannuthy and Angamaly.
The ED case is that the accused had made undue gains from the construction of the highway. The Central Bureau of Investigation had earlier booked a corruption case against the accused.
The agency had arraigned Sree Ram Tiwari of Guruvayoor Infrastructure Private Limited, West Bengal, Vikram Reddy of Hyderabad, Prashant Kapila and Naresh Kumar Sinha of International Consultants and Technocrats, New Delhi, and P. Ramanathan, former Project Director of the project implementation unit of the National Highways Authority of India, Palakkad, as accused.
The agency had also frozen movable properties worth ₹125 crore in the case.
