Aamir Khan introduced his partner Gauri Spratt to the media on his 60th birthday. Gauri met the media and during her first interaction, she revealed how she fell in love with Aamir. She’s working at Aamir’s production house and the actor said that they have been together for 18 months. He said he’s now comfortable introducing her to everyone as he feels settled with her.
Meanwhile, Gauri revealed what she was looking for in a partner. She said, “I wanted someone who was kind, a gentleman, and just caring.” In response, Aamir, in jest, said, “And after all that, you found me?”
Aamir also said what he loved about Gauri. “I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was. I have tried to tell her how it will be, the media madness, and prepare her somewhat for it. She isn’t used to it. But we are hoping that you guys will be kind,” she said.
She revealed that she has only seen two films of Aamir ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and ‘Lagaan’. The actor further said, “She grew up in Bangalore, and her exposure was to different kinds of films and arts. So she doesn’t watch Hindi films. She has probably not seen much of my work, either. She doesn’t see me as a superstar but as a partner. But I do want her to watch Taare Zameen Par.”
Just a day before Aamir’s birthday, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had visited Aamir at his house and the actor said he introduced Gauri to both of them. Aamir also made Gauri meet his family. The media joked with the actor that now Aamir and SRK both have Gauri in their life, so Salman should also have. Reacting to it, Aamir said, “Salman kya dhoondega ab? (Who will Salman search for now?)”
