Aditi expressed her surprise that, despite the overwhelming love and appreciation for the show, she didn’t receive a flood of exciting opportunities as expected. Aditi portrayed Bibbojaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Heeramandi and gained widespread attention for her dance number Saiyaan Hatto Jao. The series also starred Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sharmeen Segal, Fardeen Khan, and Sanjeeda Shaikh in key roles.

The series delves into the cultural world of Heeramandi, showcasing the lives of courtesans and their patrons amid the Indian freedom struggle of the 1940s. Released on Netflix on May 1, it brings to life the glamour and complexities of this historic district.
Aditi Rao Hydari has signed a new romantic drama alongside Avinash Tiwary. The film, also featuring Arjun Rampal, will be directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Netflix.
