Auto Rickshaw driver who took Saif Ali Khan to the hospital gets a reward with THIS amount, find out! | Hindi Movie News

Saif Ali Khan was rushed to the hospital on January 16, as he got stabbed six times during an attempt at robbery in his house. Saif was bleeding and he was taken to the hospital in a rickshaw. The auto driver who took Saif to Lilavati has now been rewarded by an institution. His name Bhajan Singh Rana who is from Uttarakhand usually operates at night.
In an exclusive chat with ETimes, Rana had shared, “I wasn’t aware that he was an actor, and I didn’t bother about that. I just saw a man bleeding and wanted to take him to the hospital.” He had said that Saif was bleeding so much that his entire white kurta was red. He did not know at that point in time that he was actor Saif Ali Khan. All the rickshaw driver saw was that the man was bleeding.
Now according to a report in News24, this rickshaw driver has been given a reward of Rs 11,000 from an instituition for his noble work.
Recently, Rana also revealed that he was called by the police station for his statement. “I was called there (Bandra Police Station) for questioning…I did not think about money that night…I have not been contacted by Kareena Kapoor or anyone else so far. I have not had any conversation with them,” he told ANI.
The accused in this matter has now been caught by the police. He is a Bangladeshi and his name is Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir. He has been reportedly staying in India illegally. The police had taken him to Saif’s house on Monday night to recreate the crime scene.
