After a long time, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been soaking up time together in Mumbai. On Saturday evening, Virat was spotted at the airport, departing for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series against Australia. The star cricketer made a polite request to the paparazzi, asking them not to direct their cameras toward the airport gates to protect his family’s privacy as Anushka Sharma arrived with their kids, Vamika and Akaay.
‘Bhai idhar mat ghumao yaar. Uss taraf camera nahi karna hai,’ Virat was heard saying as soon as the paparazzi followed him to take pictures. In photos from the evening, Kohli can be seen sporting a relaxed look in a white t-shirt, jeans, and a red cap. The photographers respected his request and were treated to a few shots of him before he made his way inside.
Virat appeared to be in a hurry as he remarked, “Family ko rok ke thodi na photo lunga tum log ke saath yaar,” when fans and photographers began gathering around him.

Virat and Anushka welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika, on January 11, 2021. Since her birth, the couple has made privacy a priority for their daughter, often requesting the media and fans to refrain from sharing or clicking pictures of her face to protect her privacy. The couple were blessed with their second child, a son named Akaay, on February 15, 2024. Since then, Virat and Anushka have been staying in London.
On Friday, Virat and Anushka were seen attending Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s daughter’s birthday celebration, both looking chic and cheerful. Anushka kept it stylish in a white shirt with denim, while Virat chose a maroon t-shirt and light jeans. At the venue, he even posed for a fan’s picture before heading inside.

The couple also recently visited a Mumbai cafe for dosas, with Anushka posting a nostalgic note about her childhood. The cafe’s Instagram shared photos of them with the staff, while Anushka reminisced, captioning, “Benne-fic full childhood memories revived macha.” Anushka also captured a festive moment earlier, posting a photo of Chhath Pooja celebrations on Mumbai’s beach.

On the work front, Anushka will portray Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in Chakda Xpress, a biopic directed by Prosit Roy and produced by her brother Karnesh Sharma.
