Bodyguard Sexually Harass Actress: After the Hema Committee report, there has been a ruckus in the Malayalam film industry over the issues of sexual harassment and casting couch. Molestation incidents keep happening with celebrities too. That is why they keep bodyguards with them, but what if the bodyguard forgets his responsibility and does something wrong? Something similar has happened with TV’s Choti Anandi i.e. Avika Gaur.
In an interview with Housefly, Avika Gor told that this has happened to her many times in Kazakhstan, that too by her own bodyguard. The actress said- “This happens in India, but it happened to me many times in Kazakhstan. Some bodyguards are always with you, but there is one who tries to be smart.”
1920: Horror of the Heart fame actress Avika Gor mentioned the incident that happened in Kazakhstan and told that when she was going towards the stage in an event, her own bodyguard tried to touch her inappropriately. She said- “I remember someone touched me from behind. When I turned back, only my bodyguard was there. When I was going to the stage, someone was trying to touch me from behind. Then there was no one else except the bodyguard. I remember this was going to happen for the second time and then I stopped it.”
Avika Gor had shouted at the bodyguard for the second time. He then apologised to her and the actress let it go. According to the actress- “It’s very embarrassing. I just looked at him and thought, ‘What?’ And he just apologised. So what do I do after that? So I let it go. They don’t know what impact their actions are having on the other person.”
