‘Dexter: Resurrection’ to premiere in India on Prime Video-OxBig News Network

Prime Video has confirmed that Dexter: Resurrection, the latest chapter in the long-running crime thriller franchise, will premiere in India on July 12. The release is part of the platform’s Prime Day 2025 line-up and will be available during Amazon India’s Prime Day event, running from July 12 to 14.

Starring Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, the series picks up after the events of Dexter: New Blood, where Dexter survived a near-fatal gunshot inflicted by his son, Harrison. Now awake from a coma and with Harrison missing, Dexter finds himself pulled into a search that leads him deep into New York City’s criminal underworld.

The series follows Dexter as he grapples with his own guilt and past actions, while navigating new threats — most notably Leon Prater, a billionaire who leads a covert network of serial killers.

Alongside Hall, the cast includes Peter Dinklage, Uma Thurman, and Jack Alcott. Clyde Phillips returns as the series creator, with direction by Marcos Siega and Monica Raymund.
