Salman Khan-Aamir Khan’s ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ to re-release in theatres-OxBig News Network

Rajkumar Santoshi’s cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna is set to re-release in Indian theatres in April. Starring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, the 1994 film enjoys an iconic status in Hindi cinema. Though not a major success upon release, the film grew a substantial fandom over the years, banking on its quirky cast of characters and slapstick brilliance.

According to a post by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on X (formerly Twitter), multiplex chain Cinepolis is re-releasing Andaz Apna Apna across Indian cities. The film has been re-mastered in 4k and will feature Dolby 5.1 surround sound. A teaser for the re-release version will be released tomorrow (February 13).

The #AamirKhan – #SalmanKhan starrer, directed by #RajkumarSantoshi, has been restored and remastered in 4K and Dolby 5.1 Sound.

Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor were the female leads of Andaz Apna Apna. Additionally, the film featured rollicking supporting turns by Shakti Kapoor (as Crime Master Gogo), Shehzad Khan and Paresh Rawal (in a double role).

In 2024, director Rajkumar Santoshi had hinted at a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna, potentially with the title Adaa Apni Apni.
