‘Suriya 45’: Trisha joins the cast of Suriya’s next movie with RJ Balaji-OxBig News Network

Actor Trisha Krishnan will feature alongside South star Suriya’s next movie, the makers have announced. The movie, which will be directed by RJ Balaji, marks her reunion with Suriya after nearly two decades.

They last starred together in the 2005 film Aaru. The film’s production banner, Dream Warrior Pictures, shared the news on Instagram on December 14, 2024 (Friday).

Suriya and Trisha also worked on the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe and were part of the ensemble cast of Mani Ratnam’s 2004 film Aayutha Ezhuthu.

The film will feature music composed by Sai Abhyankkar and cinematography by G K Vishnu. Suriya last starred in Kanguva, the period fantasy adventure film directed by Siva. He is awaiting the release of Karthik Subbaraj’s directorial.

Trisha most recently made a cameo appearance in Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time. Her upcoming movies include Identity with Tovino Thomas, Vidaamuyarchi with Ajith and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life, headlined by Kamal Haasan.
