Suriya’s film with Venky Atluri, ‘Suriya 46,’ goes on floors-OxBig News Network

Suriya’s upcoming movie with director Venky Atluri, tentatively called Suriya 46, went on floors on Monday (June 9). The film, produced by Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner, was launched with a pooja ceremony on May 19.

Though the production banner had announced that the film would go on floors on June 9, the banner hasn’t officially released pictures from the first day of shoot. Interestingly, a leaked still from the set, featuring Suriya preparing for what is rumoured to be an action sequence, has now gone viral on social media.

Suriya 46 features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. The film has Navin Nooli on board as the editor, while Nimish Ravi has been roped in as the cinematographer. Other details regarding the plot and the rest of the cast and crew remain unknown at the moment.

Sithara Entertainments produces the film in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.

Suriya was recently seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s Retro, also starring Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram and Nasser. The actor is also working on a film with director RJ Balaji; tentatively titled Suriya 45, the movie went on floors in November 2024.
