Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap‘s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap who tied the knot with Shane Gregoire on December 11, 2024 had made several headlines on the internet. Well, currently, a viral video from the wedding days has surfaced.
In the video, Anurag is seen grooving his heart out at the cocktail party, standing behind the DJ.

The video shows Anurag and Ganesh dancing to the song Chikni Chameli from Sanjay Dutt’s film ‘Agneepath’. He captioned the post as, “Aaliyah Kashyap, Shane Gregoire. The Best Wedding After-Party of Last Year! Sir Anurag Kashyap, you were the show-stealer!”
The filmmaker looked hunk in an off-white suit and stylish eyeglasses.
In a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter India, Anurag Kashyap opened up about his daughter’s wedding, revealing that it had a budget similar to a small film.
Further, reflecting on his plans for 2025, Anurag stated that he plans to take a break from making films next year. He wants to relax, rejuvenate, and watch films. He reflected on how this year was busy with making films and acting, especially since he had to fund his daughter’s wedding, which was a big task for an indie filmmaker. Now that his daughter is married, he feels calmer and wants to focus on recharging himself.
Professionally, Anurag Kashyap’s 2023 film ‘Kennedy’, starring Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone was premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival and received positive reviews at various other festivals worldwide. Since then, Anurag has not directed a film but has taken on acting roles in ‘Leo’, ‘Maharaja’, and ‘Viduthalai Part 2’.
