Gurdas Maan mourns the loss of brother Gurpanth Maan

Legendary Punjabi singer, songwriter, and actor Gurdas Maan is mourning the loss of his younger brother, Gurpanth Maan, who passed away today after a brief illness at a private hospital in Mohali.

Gurpanth, 68, a commission agent and farmer from Gidderbaha town, had been undergoing treatment at a multi-specialty hospital in Mohali for about two months. According to advocate Gurmeet Mann, a cousin of the deceased, Gurpanth’s condition had shown improvement, and he was even discharged from the hospital, but he succumbed to his illness today.

Gurpanth is survived by his wife, son, and daughter, with both children settled abroad. He was the middle sibling between Gurdas and their sister. The cremation is scheduled for tomorrow in Chandigarh.
