Malini mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Prayagraj to take a holy dip, arguing that if the situation were unmanageable, the Prime Minister would not be going. In response to Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav‘s questions in Parliament about the stampede, she remarked that Yadav’s role is to speak negatively and reiterated that while the incident did occur, it was not as significant as portrayed.
