‘Ironheart’ trailer: Riri Williams’ magic-enhanced suit is all ready for take off-OxBig News Network

Marvel Entertainment on Monday (June 9) unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming superhero series, Ironheart. Starring Dominique Thorne as the titular superhero, the series is set to premiere with its first three episodes on June 24 on Disney+.

In the trailer, we see Riri Williams (Thorne), the prodigy inventor introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, attempt to refine her suit with the help of magic. However, trouble finds its way. ”Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka “The Hood” (Anthony Ramos),” reads the logline of the series.

Fascinatingly, the final moments of the trailer also glimpse at N.A.T.A.L.I.E., Riri’s personal assistant, akin to Jarvis, who takes the form of Natalie Washington (Lyric Ross), Riri’s best friend.

Directed by Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes, Ironheart also features Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White.

Written and created by Chinaka Hodge, the six-episode series is executive produced by Ryan Coogler, the acclaimed filmmaker known for helming titles like Black Panther and Sinners. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Chinaka Hodge, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler also executive produce.
