Rajinikanth’s team condemns derogatory remarks against Vijay-OxBig News Network

Rajinikanth and Vijay are among the biggest actors of Tamil cinema, and have massive fan bases. While Vijay is currently eyeing a political career besides working on Jana Nayagan with director H Vinoth, Rajinikanth is busy with a couple of films, including Coolie and Jailer 2.

While the two stars share a warm camaraderie, with Rajinikanth even wishing Vijay for his political foray, fans of the two stars routinely engage in wars online. A recent clash online had a few users, who claimed to be fans of Rajinikanth, making some derogatory remarks against Vijay.

Condemning these comments, Rajinikanth’s official statement sent by his PRO read: “These remarks are unacceptable and go against the principles upheld by true Rajinikanth fans. Sharing such harmful content only fosters division and animosity. No fan should spread hatred against any actor or fellow human in the name of fandom. Fans should promote love and positivity and not indulge in hatred.”

Rajinikanth is currently busy with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie. Also starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, and Soubin Sahir, the movie is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. His Jailer 2, with director Nelson, will see him reprise the role of ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian.
