Johnny Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard expecting second child; actress ‘delighted’ to expand family |

Congratulations are in order for actress Amber Heard who has a second baby on the way.
The 38-year-old actress, best known for her role in Aquaman, is set to welcome her second child. The happy news was confirmed by her representative, who shared with People magazine, ‘It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage.”
The rep went on to add, “Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
Amber is already a mother to a three-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige, who was born in April 2021. While Heard welcomed her baby girl via surrogacy, it is unclear if she is opting for the same route to welcome her second child.

Following her divorce from actor Johnny Depp, Heard announced the news of her baby’s arrival in an Instagram post, explaining “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.”
She noted wanting to normalize being a single mother and the importance of empowering women to make independent choices about motherhood. She said, “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

Heard was previously married to actor Johnny Depp from 2015 to 2017. Their tumultuous relationship culminated in a highly publicised legal battle in 2022 after Depp filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Heard. The six-week trial ended with a jury ruling in Depp’s favour and Heard was asked to shell out $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. Heard, in turn, was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages for one of her counterclaims.
Since her highly publicised trial against Depp, Amber has been living a quite life in Spain. She was spotted over the Halloween weekend, going trick or treating with her daughter Oonagh.
While details about her second child remain under wraps for now, Amber’s fans and well-wishers took to social media to congratulate the actress and wish her and Oonagh the best.
