Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to tie the knot today, December 4, 2024, in a much-anticipated wedding ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. As the wedding date is here fans are waiting for updates and information about the details of the couple’s nuptials.
ETimes exclusively learnt that the wedding is scheduled to take place today at 8:15 PM, with the rituals expected to be going throughout the day.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have chosen Annapurna Studios as the venue for their wedding. Established by Naga Chaitanya’s late grandfather, the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, choosing this iconic location allows Naga Chaitanya to honor his family’s heritage while seeking blessings from his grandfather’s spirit.
Leading up to this special occasion, Sobhita has shared numerous pictures from her pre-wedding ceremonies, which included traditional Telugu rituals as the couple always wanted to keep the wedding to the cultural roots.
The pre-wedding celebrations kicked off with the Raata Sthaapana and Mangalasnaanam rituals. During the Raata ceremony, Sobhita donned her mother and grandmother’s jewellery. Following this, the Mangalasnaanam involved applying turmeric paste, similar to a Haldi ceremony, purification and preparation for marriage.

Sobhita also celebrated her Pelli Kuthuru ceremony, where she looked stunning in a red silk saree adorned with gold motifs. This event is significant in Telugu culture as it marks the bride’s transition into married life and involves blessings from family members.

As they prepare for their wedding, Naga Chaitanya will wear a traditional Pancha, honoring his grandfather’s legacy. Meanwhile, Sobhita will be draped in a beautiful Kanjivaram silk saree embellished with real gold zari, complemented by elaborate jewellery.
A star-studded guest list will include Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, the Mega family, SS Rajamouli, the Daggubati family, Nayanthara and many other prominent figures from the film industry. Bollywood’s Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan are also expected to be making an appearance at the private wedding.
