Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala tied the knot in a grand Telugu traditional ceremony yesterday (December 4) at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. After several wedding pictures went viral on the internet, an unseen glimpse has emerged, capturing Naga Chaitanya showing his wife, Sobhita, the Arundhati Nakshatra (a pair of stars).

In the picture, Sobhita is seen in her second wedding look, a stunning red-and-white Kanchivaram saree, symbolizing the South Indian traditional values of their marriage. Naga Chaitanya, dressed in a white kurta and dhoti, stands beside her, pointing towards the sky to explain the significance of the Arundhati Nakshatra. The couple is positioned in front of the statue of the late actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, adding emotional significance to the moment.
The Arundhati Nakshatra ritual is an integral part of Hindu marriage ceremonies. It represents an ideal couple and a harmonious marriage. During this ritual, the groom points out the double stars, Arundhati and Vasishtha, to the bride, symbolizing love and marital unity. The couple is then encouraged to observe the stars together, signifying togetherness and commitment.

For the main wedding ceremony, Sobhita wore a regal golden Kanchivaram saree, while Naga Chaitanya looked elegant in a traditional white veshti and kurta. Their wedding and pre-wedding festivities were steeped in traditional Hindu rituals. The couple chose Annapurna Studios, owned by the Akkineni family, as their wedding venue. Founded in 1976 by the late superstar Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the studio holds deep emotional significance for the Akkineni family.
In one of the pictures, the grand statue of Akkineni Nageswara Rao is prominently featured, symbolizing his presence and blessings. Another photograph artistically blurred the couple to focus on the statue, further highlighting its importance in the ceremony.

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, from whom he divorced in 2021. He later began dating Sobhita, and the couple got engaged on August 8 this year. Their wedding was attended by several prominent figures from the film industry, including Nani, Rana Daggubati, Karthi, and others.
