It was being reported that during Sonu Nigam‘s live concert at Delhi Technological University, stones and bottles were thrown on stage. This happened as a video of Sonu went viral where the singer was saying, “Main aapke liye aaya hoon yahan pe (I have come here for you) so that we can all have a good time. I’m not asking you to stop enjoying, but please don’t do this.”
However, now, Sonu has dismissed the reports of stone pelting at the concert. The singer has clarified that only a vape was thrown. He said, “Nothing like hurling of stones or bottles as mentioned in some media happened at DTU. There was one Vape thrown by someone on stage that hit Subhankar’s chest and that’s when I was informed about it. I paused the show and requested and reminded the collegians that the show will have to be abruptly stopped if something like that happened again. The only thing hurled on stage after that, was the Pookie band. Which was really Pookie.. 😊 😊 😊”

After the vape incident, someone from the audience threw a pink bunny headband on stage. Sonu starting singing ‘Kya se Kya ho gaya’ after this and took it in good spirit. The crowds started cheering for him, calling him ‘Pookie Pookie’ after this.
