Prabhas: Prabhas’ The Raja Saab release delayed? Director Maruthi urges fans to be patient amid post-production challenges

Prabhas‘ much-anticipated film ‘The Raja Saab’, directed by Maruthi, has hit another delay, leaving fans both anxious and curious. The horror-romantic entertainer, which has been in the making for nearly three years, was initially slated for release on April 10, 2025. However, with key post-production work still pending, the release has now been postponed, with no official new date announced yet.

Fan’s request
Recently, director Maruthi visited the Tirupati and Srikalahasti temples in Andhra Pradesh, where photos of his visit sparked online fan interactions. One Prabhas fan urged him to provide a clear update: “Just give official info through media that it’ll come in November or next year or whenever. Fans will not bother You.” Maruthi responded with an honest explanation, revealing that the decision isn’t his alone and that the makers at People Media Factory are working towards announcing the release date.

Here’s what Maruthi replied
“To give the accurate info, @peoplemediafcy [is] on that job. Expecting CG output soon. Once those are verified, makers will announce the release date. Many external things will involve in this process. It’s not a one-man word or work. So things will take time. Be lil patient, everyone is giving their best to match your expectations,” Maruthi wrote.

He also reassured fans that only the “talkie part and songs” are left to shoot, and the team is gearing up to showcase their hard work soon.
