Rashmika Mandanna recently attended the closing ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024 in Goa as part of the promotion of her upcoming movie ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ and she addressed the rumors regarding her huge remuneration. She reacted to the ongoing reports about her becoming the highest-paid female actor after.

According to India Today, Rashmika was questioned about the buzz, and she responded, “I don’t agree with that at all because that is not true.” Several reports indicate that Rashmika was paid Rs 10 crore for her role in the film, a substantial increase from her Rs 2 crore fee for the first part.

During the event, she addressed the absence of her co-star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar from the promotions. She explained that they were occupied with the final edits of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ which is why they couldn’t attend. When asked if she expects to win a National Award for ‘Pushpa 2,’ following Allu Arjun’s win, Rashmika smiled and responded, “Hope so.”
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is a much-awaited sequel to the 2021 blockbuster hit ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’ Directed by Sukumar, the film will be released in theatres on December 5.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna will also share the screen with Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni in ‘Kubera.’ She will also share the screen with Vicky Kaushal in ‘Chhaava’ and Salman Khan in ‘Sikandar.’
