Saif Ali Khan attended an event in Mumbai, marking his first public appearance after the robbery at his home. Netflix announced several films for this year, including Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, starring Saif and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles.

Saif attended the event with a cast on his arm and shared his happiness about being there after the stabbing. He said he was excited about the movie, as he and Siddharth had discussed it for a long time. He always wanted to do a heist film and praised Jaideep as a co-star.

Saif was stabbed during a failed robbery at his Bandra home on January 16. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove a knife near his spine. He was discharged five days later. The suspect is in police custody, and security at his home has been increased.

Netflix describes Jewel Thief as a thriller about a crime lord who hires a jewel thief to steal a rare diamond, The African Red Sun. However, the heist goes wrong, leading to chaos, unexpected alliances, and a dangerous game of deception and betrayal.
