Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has hinted at a sequel to his 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan. During a press conference ahead of the release of his upcoming film Sikandar, Salman playfully remarked that a sequel could happen but with an interesting twist. “Bajrangi Bhaijaan ka sequel ban sakta hai. But uska problem yeh hoga ki jab uska sequel banega toh Munni (Harshaali Malhotra) baat karegi,” he said, referencing the character played by Harshaali Malhotra.
He also revealed that filmmaker Kabir Khan is already working on the script, stating, “He is writing it, he has got a draft of it ready.” This confirmation has left fans excited about a potential follow-up to the heartwarming story.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan: A beloved blockbuster
Released in 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan remains one of the most cherished films of Salman Khan’s career. Directed by Kabir Khan and written by V. Vijayendra Prasad, the film follows the emotional journey of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi, a Hanuman devotee who helps a lost mute girl from Pakistan, Shahida (played by Harshaali Malhotra), reunite with her family across the border.

Before Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, Salman Khan is set to return to the big screen with Sikandar, an Eid 2025 release. Directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman, with an ensemble cast featuring Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi.
Set to hit theaters on March 30, 2025, Sikandar promises to be an action-packed entertainer.
