Rohit Bal was admired for his ability to bring India’s cultural heritage to life through modern fashion. His unique style, blending traditional and contemporary designs, won hearts around the world and transformed Indian fashion. His passing marks a great loss, yet his work will continue to inspire future designers for years to come.

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) honored Rohit Bal in a heartfelt Instagram post, saying, “We mourn the passing of legendary designer Rohit Bal. As a founding member, he reshaped Indian fashion with his blend of traditional motifs and modern flair. His artistry and vision will live on. Rest in peace, GUDDA. You are a legend.”

Rohit Bal had been dealing with heart-related health issues for years, beginning with a heart attack in 2010. Recently, his health took a downturn with worsening pancreatitis, resulting in multiple hospitalizations. After a sudden collapse, he was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, raising concerns about his well-being among loved ones and fans.
