Huma Qureshi has officially joined the cast of the third installment of ‘Delhi Crime’, starring alongside Shefali Shah and Rasika Dugal. Reports indicate that filming has commenced in the Delhi-NCR region, with a mix of scenes being shot. The series is expected to explore themes of human trafficking and will be released in two parts, starting mid-2025.
Recently, a source revealed to Hindustan Times that the makers wanted to start with the shoot in the Capital.The initial plan was to start early September, but they were waiting for Huma’s dates. The shooting for ‘Delhi Crime 3’ started 10 days ago in Greater Noida. Huma, Shefali, Rasika and Rajesh Tailang are currently shooting.
An insider revealed that the current filming schedule for ‘Delhi Crime Season 3‘ involves a variety of scenes being shot in Greater Noida, including significant footage of police stations, havelis, and roads. After this, the team will head to Delhi to film at different locations, with shooting expected to last for over two months. Previous seasons also included scenes from Gautam Buddha Nagar’s police stations.
The makers of ‘Delhi Crime Season 3’ plan to release the series in two parts, with a brief gap between them. The first part is expected to debut by mid-2025. Additionally, new cast members will join alongside Huma Qureshi, though details remain undisclosed. Reports indicate that this season will focus on human trafficking.
