In a recent interview, the actress revealed that doing ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ was a quick decision, and she wanted to make ‘Kaavaalaa’ even better.
In an interview with Indian Express, Tamannaah shared that “Aaj Ki Raat” from Amar Kaushik’s ‘Stree 2’, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, was a sweet decision she made. The actress needed only a minute to decide whether she wanted to do it or not, as ‘Kaavaalaa’ from ‘Jailer’ had just been released at that time.

While talking about ‘Kaavaalaa’ from Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’, Tamannaah shared that she did not feel she gave her best to the song. “To be honest, I felt like I could have done something better,” she stated. At the same time, director Amar Kaushik explained that she would be playing a character in the movie through her dance to ‘Aaj Ki Raat,’ and it was not just a song. The descriptions of her performance and the movie’s story gave the ‘Baahubali’ actress some food for thought, and she decided to approach it differently.
