Five family members killed in deadly car crash in coastal Georgia

A deadly car accident occurred in coastal Georgia on Sunday morning in which five family members lost their lives, news agency Associated Press reported citing state authorities.

The collision occurred on I-95 in McIntosh County around 6 am, when one vehicle collided with another traveling southbound. The crash led to one of the vehicles bursting into flames.

The victims in the burned vehicle were identified as 27-year-old Reagan Dougan and her four children, aged 9, 4, 2, and 3 months. Reagan had been driving a rental car from Raleigh, North Carolina, on her way to meet her husband in Florida.

Her husband has been notified of the devastating accident. The passenger in the other vehicle involved in the crash was taken to the hospital for treatment.
