The review sarcastically commented on how the film resembled Student of the Year 3 and drew visual inspiration from Crazy Rich Asians, portraying a world where the wealthy are miserable and the middle class is content.
Birdy further mocked the lack of originality in the film, writing, “The beautiful part of Nadaaniyan is that it stays completely away from anything remotely original.” He also humorously pointed out that Ibrahim Ali Khan’s acting offered “two actors in one” due to his resemblance to Saif Ali Khan and his voice being similar to Sanjay Dutt.
