A 104-year-old man, who spent 43 years in jail on prices of homicide and tried homicide, was launched from the Kaushambi district jail after being acquitted by a High Court, officers stated on Friday.
Lakhan’s launch, facilitated by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), got here after the Allahabad HC acquitted him earlier this month.
According to his jail data, he was arrested in 1977. He was concerned within the demise of a person who was killed throughout a struggle between two teams.
