Andhra Pradesh Minister calls on gang rape victim, assures government help-OxBig News Network

Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra on Sunday (December 29) called on a minor girl who was a gang rape victim at Inaguduru in Machilipatnam. The Minister assured the victim’s family of all possible help from the government and stern action against the four accused persons in the case.

The accused allegedly raped the girl studying Class VIII on the night of Friday, December 27, when she went out of her house in Inaguduru.

Machilipatnam Deputy Superintendent of Police Md. Abdul Subhan said that the four accused were arrested on Sunday. “Cases have been registered against the accused on charges of gang rape, kidnap and under the POCSO Act,” he said, informing that the condition of the minor is stable.
