India on Wednesday expelled a Pakistani official working on the Pakistan High Commission right here on Wednesday. This comes per week after one other Pakistani official was requested to go away India inside 24 hours on May 13.
The official communique from the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA) stated, “The Government of India has declared a Pakistani official, working on the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, persona non grata for indulging in actions not consistent with his official standing in India. The official has been requested to go away India inside 24 hours.”
It added, “the Charge d’Affaires, Pakistan High Commission, was issued a demarche to this impact as we speak. He was requested to strictly make sure that not one of the Pakistani diplomats or officers in India misuse their privileges and standing in any method.”
