Arunish Chawla appointed revenue secretary, Neerja Sekhar productivity council chief-OxBig News Network

A 1993-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer Neerja Sekhar has been appointed the Director General of National Productivity Council (NPC).

In a secretary-level bureaucratic reshuffle announced on December 25 evening, Sekhar, who was special secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has been appointed the NPC chief.

Arunish Chawla has been appointed the revenue secretary in the finance ministry. He was secretary in the pharmaceutical department of the ministry of chemicals and fertilisers. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the secretary in the ministry of culture.

Rachna Sah has been appointed secretary in the department of personnel and training. She was earlier secretary in the textiles ministry.

Manipur chief secretary Vineet Joshi has been appointed secretary in the higher education department of the union education ministry.

Sanjay Sethi has been appointed secretary in the National Commission for Minorities.

Amit Agarwal has been appointed the pharmaceutical secretary, while Neelam Shami Rao has been appointed the textiles secretary.
